We have market leading positions in cheese, performance nutrition, dairy ingredients, whey proteins and micronutrients. Our products are exported to or sold in over 130 countries worldwide. We are organised into three principal business divisions and employ over 4,500 people in 14 countries. Our shares are listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges.

Glanbia plc is offering excellent career opportunities on our Graduate Programme 2013 to high-performing Human Resources Graduates who wish to pursue a career in a challenging and fast moving environment.

The Graduate Programme, which initially runs for 2 years, will give graduates assignments that rotate them within and across the Group business units as appropriate, including international assignments eg USA, Canada, China, Germany and UK. This will give graduates exposure to manufacturing, services and branded environments, all within the same Group.  Success rates beyond the initial 2 years are very high with the majority of graduates moving to full time management positions within the group.

The Programme offers graduates a real opportunity to gain responsibility early in their careers and progress within the organisation.

Ideally candidates will have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Minimum 2.1 Honours in Human Resources or related discipline is required.
  • Flexibility to travel on secondment to other Glanbia sites both in Ireland and abroad.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate who has the drive, ability and a ‘can do’ mentality, with many career development opportunities in Ireland and Internationally.
