Sales Operations is the global team that makes sure Google's complex business runs smoothly. Experts in driving process improvements and consistency, team members are analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense of getting things done. They develop revenue programs, launch initiatives and set high-level goals that accelerate growth and improve productivity.

The role: Global Agency Sales Operations Analyst

Actively help grow customer business as a sales Googler. Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

This role supports the Global Agency Team which is responsible for driving business development with the largest media agency networks in the world. The Analyst will be responsible for delivering end-to-end work from data to presentations, providing analysis and business judgment to support decision making for a senior agency leader audience. The analyst will assist also in project managing automation of reports and dashboards and rapid implementation of strategic initiatives and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain global agencies revenue database and deliver consolidated revenue scorecards & insights on a regular basis for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify account growth opportunities and under-performance, including benchmarking and share of wallet assessments.
  • Work with network leaders & other internal teams to maintain the correct agency and customer rollups.
  • Provide periodic, complex management scorecards to Google senior sales management. Design and deliver dashboards and other templated intelligence and insights for key clients globally.
  • Source and maintain accurate market intelligence relating to media spend by agency, advertiser and market. Build proactive and collaborative relationships with internal teams and support functions.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills and work experience).
  • Experience in analytical sales/marketing role.
  • Expert in SQL/Tenzing, familiar with MS Access, expert user of MS Excel and VBA.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Analytical skills that include the ability to extract actionable insights from large data sets.
  • Project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to deliver value through own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Experience automating and scaling complex revenue / activity reporting.
