MyJobGroup is part of, a privately owned Irish Multinational with operations in fifteen different countries. The group operates primarily as an Online Job Advertising Medium with business interests in various diverse markets including Ireland, UK, US, China, South Africa, Central America and the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Financial Controller for the Company who will be based in Sheffield. The candidate must be an ambitious, energetic, motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast moving corporate environment, and where a flat management structure exists. A key element of the role will be an involvement in the key decisions affecting the business and therefore a good commercial understanding is essential.

 Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts
• Management of a dedicated finance team
• Preparation of the monthly reports for the Board of Directors and presentation of same
• Implementation of financial measures and plans to maximise sustained growth for the business
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Management of the company’s cash flow with ultimate responsibility for coordinating cash collection and suppliers payments
• Overall management of payroll, VAT & PAYE
• Working with Group Finance on ad hoc projects as and when required
• Ensuring the company is fully compliant with all relevant laws, accounting standards and filing requirements

Person specification:-

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with at least 2-3 years PQE
• Good commercial knowledge
• Willingness to travel
• Dynamic ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work on their own initiative/self-starter
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be used to taking high level of independent responsibility and decision making on a day to day basis with a high degree of personal accountability. is an equal opportunities employer.
