European Marketing Director is seeking to appoint a Marketing Director to drive all aspects of the marketing function of our business in Ireland, the UK and Luxembourg. includes the market leading websites and in Ireland, in Northern Ireland, in the UK and in Luxembourg.

This is an opportunity for a talented and entrepreneurial Marketing Director who is looking to take on a senior position in a rapidly growing company. Our brands are already market leaders in their respective markets, but there is still a significant job to be done in developing the product, rolling out an effective mobile strategy and harnessing the power of social media for business growth.

This is a senior marketing role in and the successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 3 marketing professionals in Europe and will liaise closely with Marketing teams in other regions

The role will be full and varied and will focus on the following areas:

  • Brand positioning and development for all European businesses, to include identity management online and offline
  • Working closely with SEO and SEM teams to deliver budgeted search targets for all Europe sites
  • Driving the Mobile and Social Media strategy across in Europe
  • Jobseeker and Business advertising for all European businesses, designed to increase brand awareness and site usage
  • Implementing PR strategy across all European businesses
  • Working with the Regional CEO Europe, Board and senior management to research, develop and execute on overall user growth strategy
  • Product development: market research with jobseekers and recruiters to identify opportunities and then introduce them, in consultation with our web design team, as additions and new services to the sites
  • Management of the marketing budget and the marketing team 
  • Identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) within marketing and execution of marketing activities
  • Management of reporting of these KPI’s at executive and Board level
Person Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Marketing Management position
  • Proven track record of working in all areas of marketing, but with particular emphasis on online SEM/paid search, email marketing, brand management and product development
  • Proven background in developing and executing user growth strategies within high growth environments
  • Experience in the on-line sector would be essential
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proactive and independent
  • Ability to work under pressure across multiple locations in a complex environment
  • Passionate about online marketing and product development
  • Experience with digital branding
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Not afraid to take responsibility with a "can do", problem solving attitude
