This position is based in our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

The role: Enterprise Mid Market Sales Representative (English)

Help the globe "go Google".?? Google's Enterprise teams work with schools, companies and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile and collaborative by using Google cloud computing to get their work done. On the Sales Operations team, you help fellow Sales Googlers by performing budgeting, planning, and analysis activities--and your passion for the magic of Google products like Apps and Chrome. Not only do you provide invaluable financial and budgeting input, but you also devise new ways for us to communicate with potential leads and bring them into the Google fold. Your razor-sharp insight means you excel at customer segmentation, acquisition and retention. You marry clean communication with strong analytical skills and a solid commitment to providing customers with a Googley customer experience. You also peer into the future for us; you examine and analyze statistical data to forecast marketing trends and to identify potential new markets for Google Enterprise. Help Google Enterprise grow and continue improving businesses the world over.

You are an experienced sales individual to work with our mid-market prospects and Premier SMB Resellers to accelerate the growth of Google Apps for Business in the UK market.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a sales target for a territory covering defined countries for the Google Apps suite of products with a focus on medium sized companies. Respond to incoming customer inquiries regarding business-need for Google Apps.
  • Drive the revenue number, forecast accurately and over achieve sales targets by leading customers through a sales cycle in conjunction with our Partners. Manage the pipeline of leads and opportunities to maximize revenue booked.
  • Manage the partner network to optimise closed sales and growth. Monitor customer feedback and translate customer needs into a better overall product experience.
  • Increase effectiveness of tools and communication channels by recognizing opportunities for innovation and proactively implementing new systems and processes.
  • Work with cross-functional colleagues to improve the product's vision and drive growth initiatives. Drive programmes within your market to encourage new partner adoption and productivity.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
  • Must speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Sales and Partner experience with strong understanding of Google messaging and collaboration products. Sales in IT a distinct advantage.
  • Experience working in Sales, with Partners and with key stakeholders and consistent overachievement against sales targets.
  • Highly skilled in building influential relationships and delivering in a cross-functional / matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of the SaaS market and Reseller providers.
  • Insightful, can suggest and implement changes to improve individual and team processes, sales methodology and user experience.
  • Ability to independently understand partner landscape in midmarket and drive programs in the field to encourage new partner adoption and partner productivity. Ability to coach partners on their business plan and assist in the execution of deals.
