This position is based in London, UK or in our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

The role: Enterprise Education Business Development Manager, EMEA

The Enterprise Education team at Google is on the front lines of helping Educational Institutions around the globe "go Google."?? As an Enterprise EDU Business Development Manager (BDM), you will drive demand for our offerings across the education community. This will include working with individual schools and universities, partners and Ministers of Education. You will champion the innovative power of our products to enable these organizations to adopt web technologies in a cost effective manner. You bring Google's portfolio into educational systems around the world and handling complex customer and stakeholder relationships comes easy to you. With a passion for Google products, you seal the deal and help transform education with Google technology.


  • Achieve quarterly sales objectives, generate/qualify/close sales opportunities.
  • Plan and execute Face-to-Face Meetings with key decision makers in large educational organisations to create business opportunities and ultimately close business.
  • Leverage Google sales engineering and marketing resources and provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them.
  • Build and manage an effective sales coverage model to introduce new Google product offerings (e.g. Chromebooks) throughout the EMEA region.
  • Engage with Top Education Partners, System Integrators and Influencers throughout the assigned EMEA region in order to establish a business-generation ecosystem.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Previous experience selling hardware and/or software into the Education vertical throughout the EMEA region.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects/deals with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently, but within a team environment.
  • Comfort leading small, ad-hoc teams with both internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English.
