The Service & Delivery Manager is responsible for developing, delivering and measuring

end-to-end services within European ERP Delivery & Support team.

The role is accountable for designing, building, pricing, and enhancing the service, as well

as service delivery and cost recovery.

The Service Manager will work with all process team lead members to guarantee the service level

is achieved.

The role also works with business leadership to understand the business outcomes of the

service and with architects, technology brokers, and external service providers to understand the

underlying technologies.

This role will track service KPIs to drive on-going improvements in service delivery performance.

On Delivery side responsibilities include:

- Is responsible for the overall on-time, on-budget delivery of SAP implementations, as well as for driving business improvements through introducing new best practices.

- Liaise with business stakeholders to identify and evaluate high level business requirements.

- Develop integrated program management plans, managing deadlines and dependencies across initiatives.

- Manage and coordinate the delivery of large, complex SAP projects defining and agreeing on projects deliverables and milestones.

- Estimating project skill requirements, identifying appropriate resources and manage their integration into the team

- Communicating projects status to client management and stakeholders

- Maintain project portfolio

On Service management:

- Set up & maintain a clearly communicated application development and support strategy; as well as work with business stakeholders and consultants on new initiatives, roll-outs, and ongoing system support activities

- Pro-actively identify areas and processes for improvement to increase governance, efficiency and effectiveness

- Ensure the partner maintain good System Documentation, and ensure ongoing GMP and Sarbanes-Oxley system compliance through proper Documentation and SOPs in a Pharmaceutical highly-regulated environment

- Co-ordinate with outsourced Support Vendors in an onsite / offshore environment, ensuring adherence to SLAs & KPIs

- Lead an Onsite / Offshore Team to manage system improvements & roll-out projects



BA or BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or Computer Science required


- 7-10 years of experience either in business or IT roles supporting is required

- 7-10 years of experience with SAP is required

- Prior leadership position that required either the definition and execution of a strategy in a complex global organization AND/OR that required operational leadership of business or IT function in a complex global organization


- Communications and Change Leadership: ability to communicate effectively across multiple constituencies to influence service outcomes and steer toward enterprise change objectives

- Strategy Development: ability to develop a systematic long-term action plan for the service.

Business Relationship Management: ability to understand and anticipate the needs of the consumers of IT services to ensure that the services drive business outcomes.
