Salary:

Grade 5 €40,928 to €48,151

 

Job Purpose:

 

To deliver a variety of digital projects and developments within the Web team in line with Global Digital Strategy.

The role involves daily liaison with internal; client teams in Dublin, UK and US as well as external agencies, designers and developers.

 

Main duties &

Responsibilities:

 

Planning

  • Create detailed specifications with clients for approved projects.
  • Commission digital projects with external agencies, managing the tender process.
  • Manage the digital or client budget for specific projects.
  • Work with Head of Web to resolve issues in terms of conflicting demands.
  • Provide recommendations on best solutions to business problems

 

Project Management

  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure all elements delivered as scheduled.
  • Proactively manage changes to projects scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans.
  • Maintain a close liaison with client teams as well as external agencies, designers and developers during projects.
  • Work with web team to ensure internal and external standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure budget monitoring and maintenance during projects

 

Learning

  • Ensure learning’s from projects are shared across the web team and the global digital group.
  • Influence and advise on the best way for Concern to manage digital projects.

 

Reporting

  • Provide regular reporting on your projects.
  • Build and sustain a good relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

Person specification:

 

Essential:

  • Experience of delivering complex digital projects involving multiple clients and agencies
  • Managing external designers and developers
  • Ability to manage budget and scheduling
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and familiarize themselves with new topics and technology quickly
  • Ability to meet constant deadlines and targets
  • Exceptionally organised with an ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Capable of building a good working relationships at all levels of operation of Concern – from CEO to Direct Dialogue
  • A good degree of flexibility, diplomacy and integrity
  • Must be a quick learner

 

Desirable:

  • Experience of Drupal CMS and Drupal Commerce
  • Knowledge of the principles of online marketing including SEM and SEO
  • Knowledge of Concern’s work and development issues.
