 JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Risk Analyst Team Leader provides first level of supervision and manages team of Risk Analysts in which their primary function is preprocessing all data functions to supportState Streetrisk management services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:             

  • Preprocess of all holdings data and enriching with Security Master attributes
  • Assist on benchmark collection and overview daily/monthly deliverables
  • Support Risk Metrics clients
  • Perform daily reconciliations on a range of data and analytics
  • Follow existing, clearly defined procedures, to address any ad hoc issues
  • Understanding of Value-at-Risk methods, sensitivity measures and Stress Testing techniques
  • Work co-operatively with other risk groups in different locations and time zones
  • Provide adequate documentation and backup of all operational processes
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Finance/Economics or related field
  • Typically 3-4 years of experience in Financial Services
  • Strong understanding of financial markets
  • Familiarity with concepts on market risk
  • Ability to delegate work to others
  • Experience in managing a team  will be beneficial
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Reuters and Bloomberg
