Position: Customer Support Consultant

 General Description:

Sage Pay provides secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order small and medium sized businesses across the UK. Sage Pay is a Payment Service Provider offering customer’s exceptional value for money without compromising on security or service quality.

 Job Purpose:

The role of the Customer Service Consultants is to primarily provide back-up and support to the Sage Pay Customer Service Advisors. The team deal with escalated technical queries which they resolve or refer to the 3rd line support team.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer queries and resolve escalations from 1st level helpdesk partners, customer service advisors and communicate solution to customer/advisor/partner.
  • Manage and own escalated queries utilizing the available resource and experience
  • Point of reference for technical queries including internal communications
  • Act as a technical liaison point for the needs of other Sage Pay  departments
  • Generation of suitable supporting technical documentation and reports

 Skills & Experience:

  • Track record of delivering extraordinary customer experience (call centre experience an advantage)
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner tailored to audience
  • Ability to navigate around software, menus and operating systems
