As a Continuous Improvement Manager based in Dublin you will be supporting the Global Shared Services Continuous Improvement strategy. The Continuous Improvement Manager will focus on implementing Global Shared Service’s Global Business System, to facilitate creating new and improved processes to predictably meet and exceed customer expectations, achieve market leadership, and meet the internal goals of the function.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will work closely with Corporate, GBU, and Divisional Leadership to ensure that best practices and continuous improvement are part of our culture, and will concentrate on accelerating Covidien’s Lean transformation.

As Continuous Improvement Manager your Principle Accountabilities will include:

- Drive the development and deployment of the Global Business System - Lean
- Mentor and develop the Global Business System skill-set across all levels of the organisation as required
- Facilitate the successful use of Lean Daily Management
- Value Stream Mapping / transformation
- Kaizen facilitation
- Develop solid relationships with both current and future Global Business System customers
- Drive both global and local process improvements

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

- Lean skills gained at a recognised Lean organisation
- Strong training, coaching, and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical/statistical problem solving tools
- Ability to influence up, down and across the organisation
- Demonstrated change leadership

Preferred requirements:

- Experience of mixture of both commercial and manufacturing environment
