Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of ad hoc and standard client and management reports
  • Coordination of the production of standard and ad hoc client reporting across all departments to ensure coherence, consistency, timeliness and accuracy
  • Analysis and coordination of new contract reporting
  • Analysis and coordination of third party data in reports
  • Work with IT to ensure access to the required data extracts and lead requests for any additional data extracts
  • Work with internal departments to develop, enhance and modify new/existing reports as per the business requirements
  • Compile data from various sources and create client and management reports
  • Support MI requirements for the various disciplines within Marketing and Client Management Department
  • Understand the data relationships that exist between the business processes, the business systems and implement this knowledge when interpreting the information requirements from the business
  • Carry out data reconciliations where required
  • Provide commentary on report findings
  • Liase with internal experts to interpret trends and propose actions required
  • Proactively manage own daily, weekly and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met
  • Support the wider function through input to and involvement in other projects
  • Continue to develop technical and systems knowledge, business and insurance understanding
  • Create and maintain robust testing, analysis and aggregation of formatted data to ensure data trustworthiness
Experience Required

  • At least 3-5 years in a reporting role (preferably within the insurance/financial services industry)
  • Proven Management Information reporting experience, including:
  • Requirements analysis/ability to interpret users needs
  • Source data analysis
  • Report building
  • Data consolidation
  • Data Quality and Integrity problem solving
  • Effective solution delivery
  • Demonstrable expert knowledge of the following tools:
  • Discoverer (or similar reporting tool)
  • MS Excel
  • MS Access
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Additional experience with the following is advantageous: Oracle
