Job Accountabilities


Key Accountabilities

BA Role

  • Provides explanations and expertise regarding as-is / to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process i.e.; process, data, work flow, application etc. to appropriate stake-holders.

  • Adapts and applies different delivery methodologies including SCRUM, Waterfall and Zurich Lean determining the best methodology for the specific project.

  • Plans, conducts / facilitates elicitation sessions for business requirements and ensures the deliverable's are met.

  • Understands customers´ objectives, processes and products in order to make appropriate recommendations for customer-specific needs.

  • Collaborates with project manager to build Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high level plan.

  • Produces requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.

  • Analyses and manages requirement risk, trace ability matrix and prioritizes requirements.

  • Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.

  • Participates in development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities.

  • Participates in post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits achieved. In case expected benefits are not achieved, participates in the analysis to determine root cause.

  • Communicates effectively through different mediums at all levels.

Continuous Improvement Coach Role

  • Regular assessment of CI managerial practices and continuous improvement in teams that have gone through within ZCW.

  • Assist in the creation of and review of the Team’s and Departmental Tactical Implementation Plans with ZCW teams to ensure that follow-up on defined actions is happening and that new actions and updated targets are being incorporated in the spirit of CI.

  • Regular coaching sessions with all levels of management in the ZCW, whilst having a strong presence to challenge and escalate on issues as needed.

  • Observation of main team activities and usage of tools (such as Comm Cells, Sit-Ins, 1-on-1 coaching sessions etc.) highlighting gaps to best practice.

  • Facilitating challenge and questioning of current practice to drive through performance improvements utilising problem solving techniques.

  • Support in yearly maturity assessment organised by central CI coaches.

Business Accountabilities

  • Successful completion of business analysis of projects.
  • Selecting appropriate processes required to meet the project objectives by weighing different choices and determining the best fit.

  • Using a defined approach that can be adapted to meet project specific requirements and differing variables.

  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate communication and engagement with stakeholders.
