Animal Nutrition Technologist, UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science

University College Dublin is seeking to recruit a Technologist to work in the School of Agriculture and Food Science. The appointee will work as part of the Animal Nutrition Team who teach a range of animal science modules to undergraduate and post graduate students and who lead cutting edge research programmes in the area of dairy cow, beef cattle, pig and sheep nutrition. The successful applicant will join an active research team based in the Animal Nutrition Laboratory located at the University’s Lyons Research Farm, Newcastle, County Dublin where they will be responsible for managing research within the nutrition laboratory and delivering parts of the teaching and demonstration programmes as required.

2010 Salary Scale: €40,221 - €48,383 per annum
2011 Salary Scale:
36,199 - €43,545 per annum*

*  Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011
