Key Responsibilities

Reserving Analysis

  • Provision of quarter end figures in a timely manner to relevant parties.
  • Enhancement of the Company’s reserving systems.
Pricing and Rate Filing

  • Assist in the development and automation of the reporting function particularly in the area around rate filings.
Regular Reports

  • Production of regular monthly reports in an accurate manner.
  • Filings submitted to the relevant regulators as and when due.
  • Assist in the development and automation of the reporting function for regular monthly reports
Experience Required

  • Possess a solid IT background and the ability to demonstrate programming experience, writing database queries and project management. 
  • Experience in liaising with, and coordinating efforts of others with whom there is no direct reporting relationship 
  • Experience of Visual Basic and SQL
Behavioural Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complicated processes and concepts to non-experts
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • High attention to detail including a commitment to accuracy of reporting.
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex problems without direct supervision
