Accounts Payable Analyst - Immediate start

Our client is a leading based in South Dublin close to Dublin City Centre who currently require an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join their Finance team. 

You will be responsible for

Maintaining, coding and reviewing inbound invoices

Supplier payment processing and liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to handle invoice related queries

Provision of urgent payment facilities to various entities

Preparation and electronic transmission of multi-currency payment files via systems

Regular contact with Finance staff from various entities to determine their payment requirements and resolve payment-related queries

Bank reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of rejected payments

Monthly AP module to GL reconciliation accounting details, matching PO's, etc

Other Ad Hoc duties as needed

 

Requirements

Fluent English speaker with a background in AP, ideally in a Multinational environment

Third level qualification, preferably in an Accounting-related discipline

Strong IT skills, such as knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and Email and ERP systems

Knowledge of Abria, JDE Oracle.

A willingness and ability to consistently provide quality, friendly service to customers

A proactive approach to work and assisting others. They must be a “self-starter”

A flexible attitude in adapting to new and varied work requests

Good communication skills, written and verbal, including a good telephone manner

Process improvement experience
