Accounts Receivable & Payroll Specialist

We seek an experienced, results-driven Accounts Receivable & Payroll Specialist who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced business environment. The ideal candidate is one who has been a top academic performer with a proven track record of on-the-job performance and has a desire to excel in our high-energy growth environment. 
This role is based in our International Headquarter office in Dublin, Ireland.

Accounts Receivable/Collections

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the full day to day accounts receivable function (EMEA) including but not limited to the following areas:

  • Accounts receivable management and ensure all collections are completed within company policy.
  • Build relationships with both customers and the sales organisation.
  • Investigate, resolve and if necessary escalate customer queries in a positive and assertive manner.
  • Document all collection activity.
  • Record and allocate customer receipts with accuracy and speed.
  • Evaluate customer payment history and identify difficult or potential problem accounts to the finance manager for review.
  • Assist with the calculation of the bad debt provision.
  • Work with the finance manager and the US team to ensure the smooth month-end close of the accounts receivable module for all EMEA companies.

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administering all EMEA payrolls.
  • Responsible for tracking PTO.
  • Input all new employee information as required for payroll processing.
  • Responsible for reviewing and tracking offer letter check list and personnel change forms to ensure accuracy of payroll.
  • Monitor and review payroll data to ensure accuracy for each payroll run
  • Answer employees’ questions concerning taxes, pay, deductibles, etc.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts / month-end reporting.
  • Liaison with external payroll vendors.
  • Reconcile account billing, wire transfers, etc.
  • Assist setting up benefits for new employees.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of all benefit plan billing.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Credit management diploma desirable.
  • Oracle Financials experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Deadline and results driven.
  • Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment and be willing to “roll-up her/his sleeves” to lead organizational change.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills essential.
