This position is based in our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

The area: Partnerships

There's always more information out there, and our Partnerships team works to get it. We develop relationships with a range of organizations, from content providers to publishers, and find ways for them to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. We find great content for our products, and we also work with partner sites to syndicate our own Google products. From negotiating agreements to solving technical problems for partners, we're in pursuit of gathering the world's information.

The role: Account Manager (Dutch), Online Partnerships Group

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) grows Google's business with online publishers by helping them utilize tools from products such as AdSense and DoubleClick. Our team is made up of high-achieving specialists who work with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. On this team you proactively identify, develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new partners. In OPG, we strive to exceed partner expectations through building, supporting and maintaining long-term win-win relationships.

As an Online Partnerships Group Account Manager, you will provide strategic account and relationship management to a portfolio of customers that includes many well-known brand sites. You will be responsible for driving our business forward by selling the full Google suite of publisher and developer products. The primary online advertising solutions you will be selling are AdSense and the AdExchange for desktop publishers, and AdMob for mobile publishers/apps developers. The role also involves cross-selling or up-selling solutions related to ad serving (DoubleClick For Publishers) and yield management (DoubleClick For Publishers in combination with AdSense or the AdExchange), among other things. A key focus will be providing the right product mix for a partner across the full range of his/her online properties. Furthermore, you will be involved in organising and executing on Online Partnerships Group Partner events, building new partnerships with key online companies in your market and developing innovative new ways to help partners grow their advertising earnings with Google. As someone coming into the organization with some years of relevant experience, you???ll also be expected to contribute to the development of strategies for your market.


  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
  • Add value to our partners' business by proposing the optimal Google monetization solution
  • Provide creative ways for partners to improve their earnings with Google???s monetization solution
  • Cross-sell new products or features that will have a positive impact on partner earnings
  • Identify innovative revenue opportunities that can be rolled out at scale across markets

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in business, marketing or online media. In lieu of degree, relevant skills and experience.
  • Must speak and write in English and Dutch fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Publisher yield management/ad operations and/or sales/account management experience.
  • Knowledge of and a keen interest in online Display and mobile advertising.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organize sales activity.
