The New Product Solutions (NPS) group is the link between Product and Sales at Google. NPS helps take product innovations and turns them into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of their spend with Google. NPS team members ensure we have the right commercial strategy for our products and bring product expertise to Sales, enabling front-line Sales partners to sell effectively and quickly. The role: Account Manager, DoubleClick Bid Manager

Actively help grow customer business as a sales Googler. Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The DoubleClick Bid Manager team are hiring experienced and highly qualified Account Managers. The Account Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of Bid Manager's advertising clients and their campaigns. You will drive the client relationship, helping to ensure that clients achieve their campaign goals, best utilise the Bid Manager platform, and expand their overall relationship with DoubleClick.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the campaign point of contact for assigned clients and named accounts with complete responsibility for performance of campaigns under your watch.
  • Develop and expand relationships with DoubleClicks clients, including identifying new opportunities for clients to increase advertiser spend efficiently, overseeing and managing campaign optimisation and pacing in the Bid Manager platform and up-selling across existing and new advertisers.
  • Optimise, pace and track major campaigns in the Bid Manager platform and learn and leverage leading ad exchange and third party data platforms and interfaces.
  • Develop case studies and educational materials for clients, understand and evangelise the exchange landscape and marketplace, especially as it relates to agencies, ad networks, and media buyers.
  • Escalate, track and resolve key client issues in a proactive and swift fashion and manage expectations both internally and externally with clients for campaign implementation, management and performance.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Powerpoint.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the online advertising industry, including knowledge of the underlying technology, major companies, and research.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and major advertisers. Experience with advertising agencies, ad networks or advertising technology companies is considered.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all teams, including sales, marketing, business development, engineering and product management.
  • Effective time-management skills. Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple client deadlines simultaneously.
  • Flexible, proactive, should be able to handle fast-paced environments.
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills; exceptionally strong written and oral communication.
