 2 x AUDIT SENIORS

LHM Casey McGrath is the largest ACCA Practice in Ireland. We provides a comprehensive range of Audit, Assurance, Accounting, Advisory, Taxation and Business Consultancy services to the Irish and International Business Communities.

LHM Casey McGrath are members of the MSI Global Alliance which is a global association of Accounting and Legal Firms with 250 member firms in over 100 countries. We have a deep rooted learning culture and were one of the first accountancy Firms in Ireland to become a Platinum Accredited Training Practice with the ACCA. Our clients include owner managed businesses, publicly listed companies, Government and public sector agencies, charities and not for profit organisations, private clients and entrepreneurs.

 We are currently recruiting two Audit Seniors to work in a fast moving dynamic enviroment.

 Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits in accordance with auditing principles for a broad range of clients
  • Investigate all audit issues to arrive at a solution or proposal
  • Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Carry out statutory audits in a timely, professional and efficient manner
  • Supervision and training of junior staff combined with an ability to direct and review work of less experienced audit team members
  • Achieve fee targets for assigned portfolio as well as overall team targets
  • Prepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients

 Required Experience

  • 3+ years PQE experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards

 Required Skills

  • Advanced computer skills especially in MS Excel
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to supervise and audit team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self starter who can critically analyse and assess information
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and with an ability to use initiative and maintain confidentiality at all times
