Description

The Store Scanning Team Leader will manage the implementation of all back-office best practice processes from ordering to product receipt and product labelling. Best practice behaviors should be focused on, but not limited, to margin specific tasks at all times.

 

The Store Scanning Team Leader will manage the implementation of all back-office best practice processes from ordering to product receipt and product labelling. Best practice behaviors should be focused on, but not limited, to margin specific tasks at all times.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will be to provide:

1.Margin Management

  • Highlight and action all margin-impacting KPI Reports with the Store Management Team.
  • Identify daily operational practices to be implemented/ improved to positively contribute to margin.
  • Deliver Margin Enhancement schemes in-store
  • Ensure all MOPI promotions are activated in-store correctly
  • Ensure escalation to Store Management of any in-store practices that negatively impact margin.
  • Ensure all non-scans are corrected in store
  • Ensure all local lines are set up and reporting correctly

 2. In Store Operations/Reporting

  • Right First Time in-store (Ordering, Waste, Gap Management, Reductions, Non Scan, Presell Pricing, Labels, Planograms)
  • Clear, documented and uniform implementation of SuperValu ways of working
  • Manage daily store ordering to eliminate additions or unnecessary top-ups
  • Clear GOLD training programme for all back-office team to ensure no single point of reference
  • Efficient output of operational reports that drive behavioural change where necessary
  • Manage PCOMMS process and ensure communications are shared and actioned
  • Printing and actioning Invoices and claims from invoice access
  • Completing and distributing the Gap Management scan
  • Ensure Pricing functions are complete in-store including: price checking, SEL & POS management

 3. Data Management/Back Office

  • Right First time delivery of all in-store operations (Ordering, Waste, Gap Management, Reductions, Non Scan, Planograms)
  • Clear, documented and uniform implementation of SuperValu ways of working
  • Clear training programme for all back-office team to ensure no single point of reference
  • The successful candidate will possess the following:

    • Retail store process experience
    • IT or Business Qualification
    • ECDL (minimum), presentations and strong communication (written / verbal) skills
    • Minimum 2yrs’ retail experience
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Experience using GOLD system
    • Focus on process adherence
    • Ability to simplify issues quickly
    • Agility to implement new processes quickly
    • Exposure to IT systems
    • Margin Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • The role is based on a 5 day over 7 day C contract, 32 - 39 Hours per week.
    Ensure daily article product file maintenance
