Our client, a Sales/Hire focused SME is recruiting a Sales Coordinator to join the team on their site in Cork. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator will provide telesales, commercial and administrative support.
- Carry out structured telephone based business development in order to generate leads
- Respond to customer enquiries to generate orders
- Provide excellent customer support and escalate issues where necessary
- Promote and achieve commercial visit targets to be undertaken by the Regional Sales Manager
- Work to specific targets and KPIs
- Prepare quotations as per customer requirements
- Ensure internal systems are updated effectively and in a timely manner
- Reporting on statistical information a weekly/monthly basis as required
- Liaise with other areas of the business as required
- General administration and other ad-hoc duties as required
- Previous experience in a busy commercial environment
- Strong administration experience in a customer-focused environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good accuracy and attention-to-detail
- Strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Pro-active self-starter with a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and display good judgement
- Good negotiation and objection handling skills
- Experience with a CRM system and SAP or similar is an advantage
