We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, hardworking manager to run the Finance Operations team.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, hardworking manager to run the Finance Operations team. Reporting to the Group Head of Finance the successful candidate will spearhead Ding’s Global B2B Pricing policy and Accounts Receivable function. You will drive efficiencies by developing automation and building new systems and processes. You will lead the B2B Pricing Team in identifying opportunities for business growth and strategic pricing initiatives across the global retail business, while also leading the accounts receivables function.

The Role

  • Drive automation to the core in building new systems and process to improve efficiency within the Finance Operations team (Pricing & Accounts Receivable)
  • Managing a global team of 3 (based in Dublin, Miami and Dubai)
  • Work closely with the Regional teams and become a key advisor to the P&L owners (Commercial Finance Business Partnering)
  • Provide weekly / monthly / ad hoc sales and gross margin reporting and analysis
  • Develop and maintain sales and gross margin budget & planning models
  • Competitive benchmarking - compile & maintain a competitor analysis in all regions (Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia)
  • Keep a close track on partner receipts, creating automated tools to track and record payments
  • Ensure Partner balances are reconciled monthly and statements are kept clean and accurate
  • Manage all issues with Ding Partners related to Pricing adjustments and invoices
  • Drive continuous improvement and a high performance culture

Key Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills and ability to interrogate systems
  • Demonstrates ownership of projects and drives them to conclusion
  • Challenges the status quo and drives change
  • Ability to prioritise work and requests based on timeframes, commercial & operational impacts
  • Negotiating with Ding Partners relating to all issues of Pricing and Accounts Receivable
  • Results focused
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
