Payroll Officer - Maternity Cover Contract. Previous experience essential.

Momentum Support are now recruiting for the position of Payroll Officer- Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract. Previous experience is essential in a fast paced environment.
- Work closely with the Payroll Team in the processing of a number of large payrolls
- Review and accurately import all time sheets and time and attendance details
- Act as key point of contact for all payroll related queries
- Update all payroll and HR systems re: changes in employee personnel files, new starters, leavers etc.
- Import updated tax status details form ROS for employees
- Prepare payroll reports or analyse payroll data as requested on ad hoc basis
- Complete forms, letters etc as requested
- Supply or submit information to HR as requested or required
- Participate in on-going projects and process improvement initiatives that present within the payroll function
- Successful candidate will have payroll experience ideally within a medium to large payroll function
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong numerical ability
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage successfully with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Proficient in IT and payroll applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Package - Word, Excel etc
- Some experience of UK payroll is desirable
- Working knowledge of Europay Payroll System is advantageous
- Ipass qualification essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within agreed timelines are essential
