Brand & Marketing Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

 

Premier Lotteries Ireland Limited (PLI) is the operator of the Irish National Lottery. PLI was awarded a twenty year licence to operate the National Lottery by the Irish Government in November 2014. Our mission is to operate a world-class lottery for the people of Ireland, raising important funds for good causes, on behalf of the Irish Government.  
 
We are currently seeking a Brand & Marketing Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) to join our team.  
 
Basic Function and Purpose of this Role 
The core purpose of this role is to oversee, develop and manage the company’s advertising, media planning & buying, Corporate & Brand identity, market research, and point of sale communications and activities. 
Responsibilities of the Job-Holder 
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role will manage three direct reports and has budget responsibility for Marketing, Advertising & Media spend of c.€20m.The role will require the individual to manage all key activities and agency partners relating to Brand, Advertising & Communications development and Market Research as required to support the delivery of the overall business strategies and objectives. 
 
Qualifications and Skills needed to do this job 
 
Essential: a 3rd Level Qualification in Marketing or related communications discipline (Degree level)   
 
Relevant Experience                                                
The post holder will have minimum 15 years’ experience in a marketing management role including experience of advertising campaign development, TV ad production, and account planning & budgeting. 
 
  • A background in FMCG, Retail, Digital or Advertising companies.  
  • Min 15 years prior experience developing & evaluating Brand Advertising Campaigns for major Brands with large TV spends/Budgets. 
  • Significant prior experience of Managing third party Media & Creative Agencies 
  • Prior experience presenting to Senior Management 
  • Have operated at Senior Marketing Management , Head of Marcomms or Group Account Director level in a client side or Advertising Agency side 
  • FMCG or Retail brand marketing based experience.
