Postdoctoral Researcher – Predictive Modelling of Meat Shelf Life (Fixed Term Specified Purpose contract, up to 5 years) Ref: NA/167/17A

 

A postdoctoral position is available with the DIT Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute, working at the interface of predictive modelling and meat industry within the scope of the Meat Technology Centre.  This specific project within the MTC aims to develop tools to assist the industry in the estimation of shelf life of meat and the effect of different interventions may have on it.

Hours of work: A 39 hour working week is in operation

 

Location: DIT  

 

Salary: €37,750 gross per annum
