AWC`s Legal department has a unique and exciting fixed term job opportunity available for someone who enjoys working on a wide variety of legal and commercial tasks relating to international business. The candidate required will possess the right balance of technical competence and practical experience in all aspects of commercial contract negotiation, regulatory analysis and complaints handling.

This role is wide and varied and the key tasks include:
-Draft and review of contracts and agreements (insurance contracts, intermediary contracts, reinsurance contracts as well as other agreements with external parties);
-Legal support for new product development and new market entry projects;
-Research of legal requirements for sales arrangements and new products in other jurisdictions;
-Review of marketing material and policy documents;
-Assisting in drafting responses to any legal correspondence received by the company which relates to a dispute in consultation with Manager;
-Investigation into and provision of advice on interpretation of insurance policy terms and conditions;
-Assisting with the coordination of external legal advice relating to litigation in consultation with Manager;
-Assisting in drafting responses to complaints, visa and other queries from customers and supporting the Manager in legal proceedings in which AWC is involved;
-Providing support in fraud investigation matters
-Ad-hoc legal tasks and project support to other team members as required.

Experience Required
-Qualified lawyer with minimum 1/2years PQE
- Contracts experience is essential
-Excellent written English required
