We are inviting applicants to join our 141 bed facility. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly motivated workforce dedicated to delivering quality care to our clients

 

We welcome applications for the position of:

ACTIVITY CO-ORDINATORS

FULL AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering a high standard of care to our residents whilst promoting their equality and dignity at all times
  • Oversee, coordinate and implement appropriate recreational, physical and individualised activities programme for the residents of the nursing home
  • Complete and review activity assessments
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe environment through providing high standards of care

 

The Candidate:

The successful candidate must be of a caring nature, sympathetic to the needs of the resident and possess good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must hold a FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant Healthcare Discipline
  • Gerontology experience would be desirable
  • Previous nursing home experience is an advantage
  • Eligible to work in Ireland

 

Professional Knowledge

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of older people
  • Previous experience in care of the elderly
  • Good literacy skills
