Otter Products is seeking an Order Management Specialist EMEA to understand the web of interaction between all parties involved in order fulfillment to accurately determine the best way to fill all customer requirements for quantity and time. Are you a master of puzzles?

There is a high volume of materials moving through the Otter Distribution Center and keeping track of it all requires incredible organization and coordination to ensure things move where and when they are needed. This Otter will work to better understand the needs of our customers and establish ways we can best meet and surpass those needs. This will include utilizing multiple distribution centers and analyzing, creating and managing alternate options and processes such as shipping direct to customer. A successful Otter will understand the web of interaction between all parties involved in order fulfillment to accurately determine the best way to fill all customer requirements for quantity and time. Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete customer order fulfillment process for our customers (internally & externally) with a focus on exceptional customer service and monthly revenue targets.
  • Maximize product and order flow from distribution center to customer.
  • Demonstrate and drive a customer focused approach in all communications with both internal and external customers.
  • Work closely with third-party logistics warehouse, create pick lists, and communicate customer delivery requirements, and following up on deliveries.
  • Maintain order fulfillment process flow, prepare all relevant shipping documentation and order prioritization.
  • Communicate customer order and products information internally and externally.
  • Monitor delivery timetables and stock levels for select customers.
  • Exercise creativity and best judgment to determine order fulfillment schedule with the customer in mind.
  • Coordinate with Logistic Specialist to determine shipping needs through various vendors to maximize efficiency.
  • Track the movement of goods, optimizing lead times and solving any issues with delays.
  • Accountable for Customer performance metrics.
  • Constantly look to review and improve processes to ensure we work effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate and help develop a culture of operational excellence where customer focus, process improvements and team collaboration are the priority.
  • Sales focus required to look for sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field/relevant experience required
  • 5+ years’ experience in order management / fulfillment is essential. FMCG experience is highly desirable
  • Distributor management , dealing with retail and e-tail customers is highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of shipping models (incoterms)
  • Advanced understanding of customer services methodologies and ability to resolve customer conflicts successfully
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential – experience in interacting with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with spreadsheet, databases and reporting tools.MS Excel and PowerPoint are a must. Experience with a MRP/ERP system is essential
  • Ability to work with a large amount of data and creatively seek information to improve processes, find solutions to business issues, and drive resolution
  • Analytical thinking with keen attention to detail
  • Proven initiative (self-starter) and responsibility demonstrated through prior work experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in a global market
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Fluent English with a second European language a plus
  • Demonstrate and help develop a culture of operational excellence where customer focus, process improvement and team collaboration are the priority
