We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Development Coordinator/ Training Coordinator to join a large organisation in the Kildare Area. You will support the Group Senior HR Manager in all aspects of the employee life cycle and in the design and delivery of a HR and Learning & Development culture, products and service. Support the people strategies to optimise group profitability and help build a strong and sustainable organisation.

 Responsibilities:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

 Administration:

  • Manage full new starter process in collaboration with HR Specialist

  • Maintenance of HR files ensuring all paperwork is up to date and work closely with Internal Auditor to maintain files on a regular basis

  • Providing general administrative support to the team and assist with any tasks & activities as may be required

  • Liaising with the Payroll Department ensuring appropriate information is processed to salaries as directed

     Learning & Development:

  1. Conduct training needs analysis alongside internal stakeholders
  2. Manage relationships with key external providers crucial to delivering required objectives.
  3. Co-ordinate the company’s Management Development programme including nominations, dates, internal awareness and project support.
  4. Schedule & manage all learning & development activities, room bookings, calendar invitations etc.
  5. Manage the Learning & Development Centre located onsite
  6. Regularly explore new and innovative suppliers and workshops
  7. Full accountability to ensure that all learning & development activities are delivered in line with business objectives and within budget.

 Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Manage regular Health & Wellbeing Activities in conjunction with external suppliers

  • Prepare written materials for awareness campaigns for internal use

  • Deliver regular internal communications across the company via various platforms including the HR Intranet and email systems

  • Create, manage the distribution of, collate & distribute results for Employee Surveys

  • Facilitate quarterly Communications Team activities including nomination requests, meeting dates etc.

     Other

  • Undertake ad-hoc projects to ensure the HR department remains on the cutting edge of HR common practice

  • Support Senior Group HR Manager with organisational design and long term planning to best benefit the organisation

  • Be a business partner to employees and managers by understanding the business and associated pressures and be viewed as a team member.

     

    SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a multinational environment is essential

  • Experience in a FMCG environment would be an advantage but not essential

  • Willingness to travel within Ireland is essential

  • Training course design would be a distinct advantage along with delivery experience

  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Excellent focus on customer service

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgement, tact and confidentiality

  • Ability to influence others both face-to-face and over the telephone

  • Extremely organised and excellent problem solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to project-manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent team player and strong ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
