Your role:

The Merck Graduate Program provides a unique opportunity for highly talented and motivated individuals to gain valuable experience and training in the multifaceted disciplines of Operations. During the program, members will experience three, eight month rotational assignments, while receiving exposure to the company's core businesses, processes, technologies and leaders. The rotations will take place in Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety and Engineering.

Structured learning opportunities will also be focused in the areas of: Presentation Skills, Supervisory Training, Management Training, Six Sigma Green Belt Training, Change Management, Insights, Global Cultural Perspectives

All applicants for the Cork Graduate Programme will also be considered for our International Operations Leadership Development Programme (OLDP), a 3 year programme, consisting of four, nine month rotational assignments including an international assignment.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in  Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain

  • Graduates of 2018

  • Qualification of 2:1 honours degree minimum

  • Mobility during and after the program

  • A team player who is innovative and has excellent technical skills

  • Enthusiastic self-starter

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • You are fluent in English
