Senior Microbiologist required for Medical Devices Client based in Co Longford

 

Senior Microbiologist

Senior Microbiologist

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Microbiological technical support to the site
  • Provides guidance on compliance issues to the Micro department and support departments to ensure that current processes remain compliant with all Site, Division and external regulatory requirements
  • Initiates and leads process improvements for the site microbiological programme
  • Lead site CAPA investigations into micro / environmental related issues
  • Create and manage key performance indictors (KPI's) for product microbiology and environmental monitoring test programs and investigate negative trending as required
  • Source and validate equipment as required

 

Requirements:

  • Third Level Qualification in Microbiology or similar. A post graduate qualification is advantageous
  • 5 Years work experience in a microbiological related activities such as environmental monitoring  or product bioburden testing or a relevant post-graduate qualification
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry a distinct advantage
  • Proven record of completing successful projects and driving positive compliance outcomes

 

This position is being offered on an initial contract with a view to going permanent.
