2016 saw an increase in the number of jobs being advertised in Ireland according to the latest IrishJobs.ie Jobs Index. In Q4 2016 jobs were up 11% year on year and 1% quarter on quarter with strong annual increases in jobs in two-thirds of all job sectors analysed nationally.
Deutsche Bank is to create 165 new jobs in Dublin. 40 roles will be based at the company’s new data lab, while a further 125 Technology and Operations positions are planned to support its Global Markets and Corporate & Investment Banking divisions.
Good news for jobseekers, the number of jobs advertised online are up 7% since this time last year according to the latest IrishJobs.ie Job Index. The job market also continued to improve throughout April, May and June with jobs increasing by 4% compared to the first three months of the year.
