NuVasive to create 30 new jobs in Waterford

The US medical device company, NuVasive, is to create 30 new jobs in the South East.

The company has announced plans to open its International Operations Centre in Waterford bringing 30 highly skilled roles to the city over the next two to three years.

Positions will be available in supply chain, customer service, accounting and IT.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NuVasive Alex Lukianov said, “We are thrilled to be located in Waterford with access to the strong local talent to support our international operations. The support from everyone in Ireland has been fantastic and we are excited to grow our presence in the area and improve our international business.”

Based in San Diego, California, NuVasive is an innovative medical device company focused on developing minimally disruptive surgical products and procedures for the spine. The spine market is the largest segment within the global orthopaedic market, with the European market expected to achieve significant growth on the account of an aging population, a growing number of younger patients, changing lifestyles and product innovations.
