400 new jobs to be created by 8 Companies

400 new jobs are to be created in Cork, Dublin and Galway by 8 different companies.

The new roles will be across a number of sectors in areas such as Software Development, Telecoms, Internet, Digital & Social Media.

The companies creating the new jobs are:

N3 Results, the global sales execution and digital marketing firm, will create at least 100 new jobs in the next three to five years in its Dublin office.

“Ireland is the gateway to Europe, and our growth there is representative of the explosion in the global market, which we expect will account for more than 60% of our business by 2019,” says Jeff Laue, CEO of N3.

N3’s international headquarters is in Atlanta. The company has offices in Beijing, Costa Rica, London, Seattle and Shanghai with more than 500 employees worldwide.

Sprout Social, the leading social media management and engagement platform for business, will open a second office in Dublin creating 85 new jobs.

“Europe is already a large and important market for Sprout,” said Justyn Howard, Founder and CEO of Sprout Social. “The Ireland operation will enable us to more effectively serve and grow business in that region as well as act as the cornerstone of future international operations.”

SimpliVity, the leader in hyperconverged infrastructure for the software-defined data centre, will create 70 new jobs in Cork. The company plans to open its service and support centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the city.

“We continue to experience tremendous growth as customers accelerate their transition away from legacy IT environments to software-defined infrastructure,” said Randy Boutin, vice president of global services at SimpliVity. “Our new service and support center is further validation of this, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to base this operation in Cork and help drive the local economy.”

Udemy, the leading global marketplace for learning and teaching online, plans to hire 50 people over the next three years in its newly established EMEA Operations centre based in Dublin’s Digital Hub.

The jobs with Udemy will be for engineers and product managers as well as for operations, marketing and sales roles. Specific business roles will include country managers, category managers, sales representatives, marketing managers, and community managers.

Udemy CEO Dennis Yang said: “Establishing a physical presence in Europe’s growing technology hub of Dublin will allow us to tap into Ireland’s highly skilled talent pool and bring on a team that will be integral to Udemy’s growth.”

Boomerang Pharmaceutical, the digital communications and marketing agency servicing the life sciences sector, will establish a Dublin office creating 25 jobs.

The company will be recruiting creative talent, UX experts, content strategists, copywriters, front-end developers and digital account managers to build ROI-centric engagement campaigns for its clients’ stakeholders.

SNP Communications, the family-owned leadership communications company that specialises in coaching, content development, creative services and consulting has announced plans to create 25 new jobs in its Dublin office over the next 3 years.

SNP plans to fill a number of roles including Head of Operations, Customer Account Managers, Sales and Relationship Managers, Video, Audio and Graphic Design Artists and an Office Manager.

Perseus Telecom, the leading provider of high-speed global connectivity, plans to open a proprietary Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Galway creating 25 new jobs. The company will be hiring for a number of roles including network engineers, software developers and projects managers.

Perseus selected Galway for its NOC because of the central role it is playing in Ireland’s burgeoning technology industry.

Finally, HedgeGuard has established its International Headquarters & Development Centre in Dublin and expects to create 20 new jobs over the next 3 years.  The new positions will be in software engineering, middle-office management, customer implementation and tech support.
