Twitter has announced plans to create of 100 new jobs in its Dublin office.
The announcement means the company, which came to Ireland in 2011, will double its workforce. Twitter currently employs around 100 people at its office on Pearse Street.
The jobs will be in a number of sectors including sales, HR, finance and marketing.
The managing director of twitter in Ireland Stephen McIntyre says “Twitter employees have a real opportunity to make an impact on the business. We are already recruiting for over 30 roles including legal, HR, sales, marketing and engineering positions.”
