Established in 1975, Dublin Business School (DBS) is Ireland's largest independent third level college. With over 9,000 students, DBS provides a comprehensive range of full-time and part-time Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Professional and Executive Education programmes.  DBS comprises four dedicated Schools covering Business, Arts, Law and Professional Programmes. Each school has proven expertise in designing, developing and delivering educational programmes to adult learners from a range of education and experiential backgrounds. 

DBS in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority under the Government 'Springboard' Initiative is providing the unemployed the opportunity to reskill or upskill for free under a range of approved and accredited courses identified as providing training that will improve the future skills of the economy, in a range business areas where sustainable employment may arise as the economy recovers.

Under the this initiative the college is offering 13 courses of various levels designed to upskill and reskill the unemployed in emerging growth areas to help them get back to work.  Springboard course participants will have a dedicated Programme Leader who is responsible for the overall management and development of the relevant programme and the management and support of adult learners on that programme. The College also provides a range of learning support services to accommodate learners such as; Careers Services Office, Employer Liaison Officer, Student Services Office, work placements and state-of-the-art library facilities as well as e learning support facilities.

DBS also offers a range of accredited Higher Certificates, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree programmes across it's schools which can provide participants with follow on programmes should they choose to pursue additional academic studies. DBS is located in the heart of Dublin city centre with campuses on Aungier Street, South Great Georges Street (Castle House), Balfe Street and Dame Street.
