    SISK Healthcare

    SISK Healthcare is an umbrella structure for a number of businesses which the Group acquired - M.E.D. Surgical, Cardiac Services, Tekno Surgical, Synapse Medical and Beaver Medical

    M.E.D. Surgical was formed in January 1993 with its charter to specialise in the distribution of OR products. Since then the company has grown significantly and in 2004 had sales of €10m with OR products still as its major focus. The company trades successfully in all-Ireland (north & south) and has a sales force covering all territories. M.E.D. Surgical became part of the SISK Group in March 2006.

    Founded in Belfast in 1968, Cardiac Services is a leading supplier of diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare equipment throughout Ireland and the UK. Its focus is on providing a total solution for the efficient distribution, maintenance and comprehensive service support of premium medical equipment. Cardiac Services is also committed to investing in the development of innovative support services for the clinical healthcare sector. Their partnership with Philips Healthcare has been further expanded into the field of Ultrasound throughout Ireland and the UK.

    Tekno Surgical, which was acquired by SISK Healthcare in January 2007, started business in 1995 and is now one of the leading suppliers of orthopaedic, aesthethic and general surgical products in Ireland. It operates from offices in Fonthill in west Dublin. Tekno Surgical has recently been awarded the full portfolio of the Stryker product range. While Tekno Surgical has been distributing Stryker trauma products, hip and knee implants for some time, it now has a full array of products including power tools, beds, trolleys and disposable products to complement the product range.

    Synapse Medical, which was acquired in July 2007, started business in 1998 and supplies equipment into a number of critical clinical areas including cardiology, endovascular and neuroradiology. Synapse Medical represents over 15 healthcare principals, all of whom are leaders in their respective fields.

    John Sisk & Son Ireland

    John Sisk & Son Limited is the largest general building contractor in Ireland. It operates across a large number of sectors, from small commercial refurbishment projects to large industrial complexes. The business has the capacity and skills to handle some of the largest projects ever seen in Ireland including the prestigious Grand Canal project, the National Convention Centre in Dublin and the new stadium at Lansdowne Road.

    Korine Property Partners is a property investment company. Since its establishment in 1999, Korine has acquired a number of property investments in Ireland and the UK which are owned and managed directly. Origo achieves this by focusing on quality, leveraging its brand building expertise, deliverying superior levels of customer service and providing cost-effective logistics solutions.

    Stone Developments is a leading producer and supplier of Irish limestone to the Irish, British and European markets. It operates quarries in Carlow and Kilkenny in Ireland and has production facilities in both Ireland and Belgium. The Stone Developments group of companies has limestone sales and marketing offices in Ireland and in Belgium, through its whooly owned Belgian subsidiary, Erinstone. In addition to the extraction, manufacture and supply of Irish limestone, Stone Developments is also a leading stone cladding contractor in Ireland supplying and fixing Irish and International sourced natural stone.

    Williaam Cox is a 50:50 joint venture between the SISK Group and CRH plc. Its main business is the design, manufacture and installation of large scale architectural glazing and cladding solutions for the Irish market. The company has been in business for over 40 years. Williaam Cox is also a leading supplier of Smoke and Heat Ventilation systems, Daylight Products and Cladding Systems. The Company operates from premises in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
