The Dublin organisation focuses mainly on the provision of Services and Support for its large enterprise Customer Base in EMEA and the US. It also provides internal IT support and hosts a Quality Engineering group focused on testing of Application and Technology releases. Our operation in Galway is a multi–lingual Support and Technical Writing centre for SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) sector. It has added groups involved in Technical Writing (including design and content for e–Learning products), Translations, License Auditing and Partner Services. It covers 21 languages and has Colleagues from 18 nationalities.

Business Objects, now a SAP company, is to invest €29 million in establishing a R&D Centre in Ireland which will be located in SAP’ facility in CityWest, Dublin. The technology is highly innovative, leading edge and is a critical part of the company’s future technology roadmap. The research will play an instrumental role in the development of a new generation of performance optimization applications, which will enhance the effectiveness of business and social networks and deliver new levels of analytics. In 2008, Business Objects was ranked one of the Best 50 Companies to Work for in Ireland.
