About Novartis at Ringaskiddy
Novartis Ringaskiddy Limited (NRL) is part of Novartis Pharma. As such, it is a key component in the company's development and production of existing and new treatments for diseases that cause suffering to millions of people around the world. As one of the three strategic chemical operation sites, Ringaskiddy helps to manufacture a majority of the top drug pipelines for Novartis. Also located on the Ringaskiddy site is Novartis International Pharmaceutical Branch Ireland.(NIPBI), which consists of analytical labs and production planning of global chemical productions. The NIPBI International Service Laboratory (ISL) acts as a strategic centre of excellence in the area of Drug Substance Analytics and Reporting. There are four main areas of responsibility within ISL: Quality Control, Stability, Reference Standards and Analytical Development. NIPBI co-ordinates and is responsible for planning in Chemical Operations (ChemOps) and the supply of all global drug substances in order to meet market requirements.
