About Keelings

Keelings started producing fruits and salads in the 1930's supplying their produce to the local Dublin markets. The 1970's saw the growth of supermarket retailing and importation of fresh produce from around the world. To meet this change in demand, the company, as it operates today, was founded in 1973. Over the last 30 years Keelings primary activities have been growing, sourcing, shipping, marketing and distributing fresh produce from sources around the world to Irish, UK and European markets. Keelings are proud of their growing expertise and are still accomplished commercial growers to this day.

Keelings Group employs approximately 1500 people throughout the 11 business units – Keelings Multiples, Keelings Farms, Janic (Import/Export) Ltd, Keelings (UK) Ltd, Keelings Catering, Keelings Market, Keelings Continental, Keelings Logistic Solutions, Keelings Flowers, IVG White Ltd. and B–Prepared.

With an annual turnover of approximately €265 million for 2003/2004 Keelings is a extremely successful family run international business.
