Having a disability, I had varied experiences with various firms. I have always believed in a meritorious but open-minded way of functioning, and I clearly saw that throughout J.P. Morgan's recruitment process. There was acceptance and encouragement, but no brownie points. It was a tough and fair process for everyone.

..Nothing is more satisfying than winning a mandate, carrying a transaction onto the finish line, then sitting next to the CFO of a company at a deal closing dinner on a cruise boat in Helsinki! As days can be long, particularly when working with clients or teams in different time zones, I like to use my downtime to catch up with my friends and my colleagues or go down to the office gym.

The firm has a strong balance sheet which is reassuring and so I really feel I have job security. I think that this underlines that doing things the right way with considered decisions runs right through the business from the top down.

My time at J.P. Morgan has taken me to new areas and locations. Looking back I’ve been very fortunate to have had my career path..Early on in my development I found that my managers suggested new opportunities for me that they knew would suit my strengths and help me grow. It’s been great to have that input from my leadership team.
