COVIDIEN ATHLONE

Covidien- Athlone facility has been in operation for 24 years. The 520 employees at the plant manufacture a range of respiratory aid devices and services that facilitate the monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory related condition.

COVIDIEN DUBLIN

Covidien - Dublin is a bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, which started its operation in 1993. The plant is located in North West area of Dublin city near the Blanchardstown shopping centre. This manufacturing facility is a fully automated state of the art facility employing 90 highly qualified personnel. The facility operates to Good Manufacturing Practices and is approved to sell its product worldwide, meeting all appropriate standards and regulations.

COVIDIEN TULLAMORE

In operation since 1982, Covidien Tullamore employees 450 people in a range of roles including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and site support services, as well as R&D. The Plant operates to the highest Operational Excellence standards and incorporates on-site Extrusion, Moulding, Assembly (semi-manual & robotics) and Steriliser departments, manufacturing an extensive range of plastics based sterile medical devices meeting all appropriate standards and regulations (FDA, NSAI, TUV). In addition the site accommodates a number of EMEA functions including Corporate Projects, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Directorate. 

COVIDIEN GALWAY

Covidien Galway facility is involved in the manufacture of critical care ventilators, monitors, sensors, liquid oxygen systems and spirometry equipment. The Galway facility, which has been in operation for 16 years, employs approximately 300 people in the development and manufacture of a range of respiratory devices and services that facilitate the monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory related conditions.

CHERRYWOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE

The centre employs approximately 140 people handling customer service for all of Europe and some Middle Eastern countries. The focus of the centre is order entry into company customer service platform and handling customer queries linked to orders using state of the art technology.
