Who we are?

Boots is a member of Alliance Boots, an international pharmacy-led health and beauty group. We've now brought together the very best from Alliance Pharmacy and Boots to create a new Boots business.

Our purpose is to help our customers look and feel better than they ever thought possible. Our customers are at the heart of our business. We're committed to providing exceptional customer and patient care, be the first choice for pharmacy and healthcare, offer innovative products 'only at Boots', with great value our customers love.

Our first store in Ireland opened its doors at the Jervis Shopping centre in Dublin in 1996. We took over a number of Hayes Cunningham Robinson pharmacies and sites in and around Dublin city in the late 1990s and are now trading under the name Boots Retail Ireland Ltd.

Today we are a huge name on the Irish high street providing customers with all their healthcare and beauty needs. In November 2009 we opened a new flagship store in Cork’s city centre, which was the fifth Boots store opened in Ireland in 2009. There are currently 55 stores in Ireland, employing 1750* people nationwide, including over 120 pharmacists.
