In 1972, construction began on a new manufacturing facility at Castlebar, Co. Mayo, with a second facility at Swinford only five years later. Today these two facilities occupy 300,000 square feet and directly employ over 1,000 people with as many more benefiting indirectly. The company also has two sales and marketing bases in Ireland (Dublin and Belfast) and a Financial Shared-Services operation in Dublin.

The Castlebar plant concentrates on the manufacture of renal dialysis solutions, pre-mixed intravenous solutions and a range of drug products while the plant at Swinford specializes in the manufacture of componentry for administration of the solutions to patient’s. The markets served from Mayo include the U.K. and all of mainland Europe, the U.S., Japan and the more developed markets in Asia.
