Production Support Developers

This role is an interactive role whereby the applicant will have contact with users in the business to help resolve issues and queries, while continuing to maintain technical skills set through interaction with our development teams both onsite and offshore.

Key Responsibilities
• Triage production support requests – ensuring issues are fully assessed so that incident can be resolved.
• Plan and implement production support request solutions in a complex technical environment
• Investigate and resolve issues while assisting with software enhancements.
• Communicate with users, management, and third parties for issue resolution.
• Work closely with internal and offshore support and development teams.
• Control support software releases as appropriate
• On call or out of hours work will be required on a rotational basis. Current shifts would be between 7am to 10pm at night, this may change with growth of business.

Experience Required
• At least 3 - 5 years Oracle experience up to Oracle 10g
• At least 3 years of PL/SQL programming experience
• Exposure to Oracle Forms could be beneficial
• Exposure to J2EE environment would be beneficial
• Experience working in a Unix environment
• Hold a third level degree or appropriate professional qualification
