Strategy & Operations, Consulting

Our Strategy & Operations Team focuses on working with senior management to make strategic decisions and implement improvements that dramatically improve performance. We help our clients stretch and sharpen their ambitions - grounded firmly in marketplace realities, their organisation's capabilities and their stakeholders' goals. We support and advise clients across the whole range of strategy and operational transformation challenges including; customer and channel strategies; growth and innovation; operating model transformation; business process improvement; operations excellence and supply chain optimisation. We work with the executive teams of indigenous and multinational companies, combining our overall strategic and functional capability with programme and change management expertise to implement and embed improvements and deliver sustainable value.

Strategy & Operations - Senior Manager - Operations Excellence

We are seeking a Senior Manager with strong business transformation and operational excellence experience to join the team. Ideally the candidate would have prior experience of consulting, and in particular would have strong Project Management, Business Process Improvement and Business analysis skills. A background in either CB, TMT or the Utilities area would be a real bonus.

Strategy & Operations - Senior Consultant / Manager - Operational Excellence

We are also seeking an additional SC / Manager in this area, who may be looking to move from industry into a Consulting role as part of their career development. Very strong analytical and project skills are a must, as are a good working style and he ability to work well with clients. Again, a background in CB or TMT would be ideal.

Human Capital - Talent Specialist

We are looking to add capacity to our market leading Talent team. The ideal candidate would have a background in Occupational/Business Psychology, and would probably have practiced in a boutique firm or independent role, completing assessment and development type assignments with Private sector organisations.

It is very important that the candidate has sufficient experience to act as a lead assessor / coach with Senior clients, and therefore we would expect this to suit a mid-career stage individual who is looking for a new challenge.

Human Capital - Change Management & HR Specialists: Manager & Consultant/Senior Consultant

We would like to augment our Change Management and HR team by hiring at both Manager and Consultant/ Senior Consultant levels. The ideal candidates would have worked on large scale business and technology enabled change projects, covering communications, change planning, and ideally organisation design. Experience of consulting would be a real bonus. Strong project management skills are a pre-requisite for these roles.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage Business Transformation projects in one or more of the following areas:-

Corporate and functional strategy development
Target operating model design
Supply Chain optimisation
Strategic sourcing
Operations Excellence (including Lean)
Enterprise Cost Reduction
Programme leadership
Change management
Providing quality advice to clients based on experience and leading industry practice.
Practice and staff management (Managers/Senior Managers)

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Prior Big Firm Consulting experience in Strategy and Operations, or significant roles in large scale transformation projects in Blue Chip organisations in the Consumer Business; Technology; and Utilities sectors is highly desirable.
Appropriate business qualification with strong academic record.
A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience for Senior Consultant roles, 4-6 years for Manager Roles, and 8 years plus for Senior Manager Roles, is required.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence. The ability to develop good working relationships is critical.
Ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
Initiative and a proactive approach, balanced with strong business acumen.
Analytical and systematic problem solving skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
