Basic Qualifications

Essential Skills:

•  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

•             Expert knowledge in Linux administration in a high-availability, distributed environment

•             Excellent knowledge of troubleshooting networks and network devices.

•             Experience in deploying and supporting applications in a 24x7 production environment.

•             Knowledge DNS, Secure File Transfers, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, WANs, etc..            

•             Functional Scripting/Programming knowledge (e.g. Perl (preferred), Shell, Python, etc.).

•             Excellent customer service, communication, documentation, work prioritization and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Proven Software Development Record

•             Strong desire to build; sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

•             Experience in successfully driving Process Automation and Implementation

•             Understanding of TCP/IP networking, architecture and core technologies (DNS, LDAP, HTTP etc.)

•             Excellent knowledge of server hardware and software troubleshooting.

•             Extensive experience with enterprise backup systems.
