Senior Software Engineer - Dublin - Roles x2 - Contract (Daily Rates) or Permanent

Key Skills:

Strong experience/knowledge of XML and complex logic handling within XML.

Excellent UNIX command line knowledge and skills: awk, sed, etc.

Very good UNIX scripting skills, text processing/parsing: Bash, Perl etc.

Good SQL and database knowledge - Oracle - SQL/PLSQL.

Very good understanding of HTTP, FTP, DNS, email protocols, etc.

Strong experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript.

A good working knowledge of Java (J2EE).

Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills.

Demonstrable ability to understand complex software functionality.

Mobile Telecommunications knowledge a big advantage (GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE).

Bonus:

A good working knowledge of Groovy or Python or Ruby or any other dynamic scripting

language.

Understanding of/Knowledge of Build & Test Frameworks such as Ant, Maven, Bamboo

etc.

Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Engineering.
