Job Description - Senior Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced senior sales executive to service both our existing clients, as well as to develop new business opportunities. The successful candidate should have at least two years relevant experience in the financial services industry and hold a QFA qualification. Working closely with the Managing Director, the Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for selling life assurance, mortgage, house insurance packages as well all other financial services offered by Eolas Finance. The role will provide the successful candidate with a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the overall operation of the business and offers excellent career progression and opportunities. 

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, motivated self-starter who will be comfortable working in a dynamic fast moving environment. The successful candidate will be based at our offices in Lucan but will be required to travel during the course of their work.

 

Person Specification - Senior Sales Executive

  • QFA qualification
  • At least two years relevant experience within the financial services industry
  • Must possess a full driver's licence and have access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent oral, written communication and PC skills
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience of working to deadlines and delivering under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Focused on quality with a high attention to detail
  • "Can-do" attitude with a strong focus on meeting the client's needs

 

Responsibilities will include 

  • Working within a team to achieve and exceed pre-agreed sales targets
  • Direct selling and cold calling to both existing and new customers
  • Responsible for dealing with client queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Responsible for compliance on all new business generated
  • Developing and sustaining long-term relationships
  • Working closely with the Managing Director on any other ad hoc projects as and when required
